#550 UNIVERSAL URETHANE
CLEARCOAT 4.4 VOC (NR)

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
ADVANTAGE #550 UNIVERSAL URETHANE Clearcoat 4.4 VOC was designed for overall and panel refinishing. It is a fast drying, user friendly clearcoat that produces an extremely durable finish. Excellent for use in air and force dry environments.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Surface must be clean, dry, and free of any contaminants, such as wax, oil, etc. Always wash vehicle with soap and water. Wipe surface with Wax & Grease Remover. Abrade the surface to remove any corrosion. Re-clean area with Final Wipe - Wax & Grease Remover. Prime bare metal with appropriate primers.

MIXING DIRECTIONS:
Mix 4 parts #550 clear with 1 part #551, #552, or #553 activator by volume. Activator selection should be based on the size of the part to be painted and the temperature of both the air and part at time of painting.

APPLICATION DIRECTIONS:
1. Adjust air pressure to 45-50 psi (Siphon); 35-40 (Gravity @ Gun); 30-40 (HVLP), 6-8 psi (@ cap).
2. Apply 3 full wet coats.
3. Allow 10-15 minutes flash time between coats. Keep spray gun 6-10 inches from substrate to avoid problems associated with air entrapment.
4. Allow to dry overnight before exposing to the weather.

SUBSTRATES:
Commercially available acrylic/cab basecoats with a VOC less than 6.6 lbs/gal.
Properly prepared previously painted substrates

CLEAN-UP & STORAGE:
Clean spray equipment immediately after use with Acrylic Lacquer Thinner or Urethane Reducer. Do not leave material in spray gun.

If on SKIN: Wash affected area thoroughly with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Launder before re-use. If in EYES: Flush eyes with large amounts of water for 15minutes.
