#5126 Maxx Shine is a medium solids, easy to spray clearcoat offering; great flow,
gloss characteristics and durability. With a convenient 4:1 mix ratio and three activators to choose from, Maxx Shine can be used for partial or complete paint jobs making it ideal for most shop conditions and temperatures.

BASECOAT
Apply basecoat as per manufacturer’s mixing and application instructions. Allow sufficient flash times before applying #5126. Inadequate flash time will affect the performance of the clear.
MIXING RATION (4:1):
Mix 4 parts #5126 MAXX SHINE Clearcoat to 1 part #5127, #5128, or #5129 Activator.
APPLICATION:
Apply 2-3 full wet coats at 40-50 psi or (6-10 psi when using HVLP at the gun), allowing a 10-15
minute flash between coats..

FORCE DRYING:

| Allow a one to two hour cool-down time before wet sanding or buffing after force drying. |
RECOATING:
#5126 may be recoated after a 16 Hour dry at 77° F, or upon cool down after force drying at 140° F for
40 minutes.
POT LIFE:
Pot life with when using #5127, #5128, or #5129 will be 3-5 hours at 77° F.
CLEAN UP:
Clean equipment immediately using 5 STAR #5700C VOC Compliant Premium Lacquer Thinner.
