PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
#5485 is a 2.1 VOC 2K Urethane Primer Surfacer. #5485 fills quickly, has excellent color holdout and that is easy to sand. This product will provide the high performance you expect from a high build primer.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Surface must be clean, dry, and free of any contaminants, such as wax, oil, etc...
1. Always wash vehicle with soap and water.
2. Wipe surface with 5 Star Autobody Products #5900 Wax & Grease Remover or #5905 Surface Prep.
3. Abrade the surface to remove any corrosion.
4. Re-clean the surface to remove any corrosion.
5. Reclean area with #5905 Surface Prep.

| 4 parts X-TREME Acrylic Urethane Primer to 1 part X-TREME Activator |
APPLICATION:
1. Adjust air pressure at the gun to 40-50 psi (Siphon); 40-45 psi (Gravity); 8-10 psi (HVLP).
2. Apply 2-3 coats to desired film build, allowing 15 minutes flash time between coats.
3. Finish sand with 600 grit or finer paper. Sanding times will vary with dried film thickness.

POT LIFE:
1-2 Hours.
ACCELERATOR:
To improve the sanding time and reduce the pot life, or for faster dry and cure in colder conditions, add 2 to 4 ounces of #5405 Urethane Accelerator to a gallon of catalyzed primer.
CLEAN UP AND STORAGE:
Clean equipment immediately using 5 Star #5700 or #5703 Lacquer Thinner or #5650 Urethane Reducer.
